Alright guys, we are back! We are back doing some more Witcher cinematics, which today we're featuring killing monsters. I think that was the cinematic that most of y'all had requested in the comment section. So, since I've been checking out these Witcher cinematics, I've been thoroughly enjoying them. I love the attention to detail. I love the interactions, the magic, the killing, the brutality, all that stuff in there that they're showing about this. This unique world that is the Witcher. And I can't help but make the comparison when I watch these videos to the Netflix series because that's what introduced me to the Witcher.
And it makes me feel a certain type of way. Because I thought that the first season on the Witcher series was pretty good, but the second season just felt really off. And now that I watch these cinematics, I'm like, whoa, things are really way off. And I can imagine if I was familiar with the books, I would probably see more things that were wrong. But anyway, let's go ahead and check out this cinematic and I'll give my thoughts, especially in comparison with the Netflix series. Let's go. Damn. Damn. Yo, that's a woman. Yo, oh my goodness. Oh, man. I'm sorry, guys.
I never pause these videos, but like just neurons in my brain are firing off. I'm like, yo, in the Netflix series, they would never, they would never hit a woman like that. Don't meddle. Take the reward and let's go. Oh, you witches wouldn't scorn imperial gold. Tough hunt. Tougher than yours. That's certain. Evil is evil. Lesser, greater middling. I'm sorry, guys. Oh, man. My brain is being overblown right now because Henry Cavell, he said that in the series. And then at the same time, they smacked the cheek. I'm like, what is going on? This is crazy. I'm taking it way back.
I'm going to try, guys. I'm going to try not to pause it anymore. All right. I'm taking it all the way back to the beginning. Cannibalism. You are hereby sentenced to death by hanging or dormant. Don't meddle. Take the reward and let's go. Help me. Oh, you witches wouldn't scorn imperial gold. Tough hunt. Tougher than yours. That's certain. Evil is evil. Lesser, greater middling. Makes no difference. Come, fit me. Bring it down. Do it my way. You like that, you bitch? Get the hammer. Get the hammer? The degree is arbitrary. The definition is blurred.
If I'm to choose between one evil and another, I'd rather not choose at all. Just make it quick, girl. Mother. Close your eyes. Get him. Oh, my God. What are you doing? Killing monsters. Oh, hold on. What? Oh, my God. Is there more? That was so good. That was so good. Because I was thinking to myself, I was like, there's no way he could just walk by and not do anything. But this is what I'm talking about with the world that they live in, in The Witcher. Because it feels real.
It feels like the real brutality of man, what man is capable of, and what would have what the world would be like during these kind of times. At the beginning of this trailer, I believe he was reading out the crimes of this woman. Let me see. By order of the Emperor of Nilfgaard, for the murder of the wounded, looting cannibalism. He said he was reading out her crimes from the Emperor, and she was sentenced to death. And so they were going to hang her. And that's how it was back in the day. Like, there was nobody coming to save you.
And I just from watching this trailer, I love how they just capture that kind of realism. Because people may have walked by and maybe wanted to help, but then were too scared to. But of course, Geralt, he's walking by with his partner, and he decides to stop and do something about it. On top of the fact, like, he slaughtered the guys. And then he got this guy, and he put him up on a stand for him to be hung. And I guess the girl is there, and she gets to make the decision of whether she's going to do it or not. That is crazy. Alright, so I'm already sold on the game, guys.
I'm going to be doing a playthrough sometime next week. I'm getting the complete version. And so from there, I'm probably going to live stream it and then cut it up. Because I know that this game is going to blow me away. The trailers that I've already watched so far have far exceeded my expectations, way better than the Netflix series. In Netflix's current state of checking boxes, there is no way, there is no way they could do anything that's ever going to come close to this. Because they would never show a show that has this kind of brutality. Like, this is almost like Game of Thrones level brutality.
On top of the fact, like, he hit the chick. I think the only show that I can think of on Netflix that comes close to doing something like that is Arcane, where they killed the kid. But, wow. Anyway, I guess this is probably going to be it for my Witcher 3 reactions up until my playthrough. But some of y'all have suggested that I check out the original game, Witcher 1, the cinematics on there. And that would give me like a little bit more understanding of the world that they live in. I guess I'll go ahead and check those out as well, so make sure you stay tuned for that.
But leave your thoughts down below in the comment section. Let me know what you thought about this trailer. And maybe if there's any other Witcher cinematics that I'm kind of missing, go ahead and fill me in. Let me know. But I'll see you guys in my next video. Peace. .
